I've released a free alpha of Ascendant Dawn that covers the tutorial area and should be a good introduction to the game. The current demo is only available for windows but if it gets enough attention I will create builds for other operating systems. 

If you haven't heard of Ascendant Dawn before it's a grand strategy/4X game where you play as a nomadic tribe.
